On Call International specializes in delivering high touch service to consumers experiencing significant life events. Whether the consumer is experiencing a severe medical emergency in an area of the world with sub-standard medical care or a legal problem in a foreign country, our representatives deliver life-determining service. We strive to provide this best-of-breed service in an efficient, warm, and caring manner.
Services provided by On Call are made available to Students who are enrolled in their College or Universitys Insurance Program. Below is a list of services offered to you by On Call International.
24 Hour Nurse Advice Line:
Wouldn't you feel better knowing you could get health care related questions answered by a Registered Nurse 24-hours a Day? Students may utilize the Nurse Advice Line when the school health clinic is closed or anytime they need confidential medical advice. On Call provides Members with clinical assessment, education, and general health information. This service shall be performed by a Registered Nurse Counselor to assist in identifying the appropriate level and source(s) of care for members (based on symptoms reported and/or health care questions asked by or on behalf of Members). Nurses shall not diagnose Member's ailment. Students must be enrolled in the Student Health Insurance Plan at their College or University in order to be eligible to utilize the Nurse Advice Program. This Program is sponsored by the College or University. This program give students access to a toll free nurse information line 24-hours a Day, 7 days a week. Travel Assistance Services:
Included in this Health Insurance Program is access to 24-hour worldwide assistance network for emergency assistance anywhere in the world. Simply call the assistance center toll free or collect at 1-800-850-4556. The multilingual staff will answer your call and immediately provide thorough, professional, and reliable assistance. The following services are included in this plan:
- Referral to the nearest, most appropriate medical facility, and/or Provider.
- Medical monitoring by board certified Emergency Physicians in the United States.
- Urgent message relay between family, friends, personal physician, school representatives and insured person/student.
- Guarantee of payment to Provider and assistance in coordinating insurance benefits.
- Arranging and coordinating emergency medical evacuation and repatriations.
- Emergency travel arrangements for disrupted travel as the consequence of medical emergency.
- Provide Referrals for legal assistance.
- Assistance in locating lost or stolen ticket application processing.
